Death defying boom

The reports of its death were exaggerated. The rare Corpse Flower blooms again in the EEB greenhouses in CLAS. The stinky Corpse Flower (Titan Arum) is the largest flower in the plant kingdom. When in bloom, it smells like a rotting human corpse. This rare flower is located in UConn’s Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology’s greenhouse.Watching this extraordinary plant bloom here.
