Explaining amphibians

With more than 6,000 described species, amphibians are more dominant than mammals, and their diversity may surprise you. They can detect the earth's magnetic field and use it to navigate; some have no lungs at all, but take up oxygen through the skin; others can speed up larval development in dry periods.
