CLAS Career Night
Tuesday, February 28, 2017
Laurel Hall, Room 102
A liberal arts and sciences degree prepares students with the tools they need to excel across a wide range of careers. Given the number of options available, it can be overwhelming to narrow down career choices. Attending CLAS Career Night will expose CLAS students to career opportunities, and allow them to learn from alumni and employers about how to best prepare for a future career.
The event will include:
- “Day in the Life” sessions featuring CLAS alumni who work in the following industries:
Communications and journalism
Social services and health care
Law, government, and policy
- Insight into the value of CLAS degrees in careers
- Open networking with alumni and employers
Dress is business casual. The event is free to attend. RSVP in HuskyCareerLink to receive alumni bios and event details (RSVP not required): http://s.uconn.edu/clascareer
The Center for Career Development will be hosting an optional prep event before the CLAS Career Night. More details a HuskyCareerLink.
